Bag #752
Style: Handbag - Intarsia
Name: Sweet Strawberry
Price: $20.00
Yarn: Acrylic. Navy, red, pink green.
Button: Big red shiny plastic ceramic-look heart.
Lining: Cotton. Red with large white polka dots.
Size: 11" wide at base x 9" deep.
Note: This strawberry is simple but bold, bright red with bright green leaves and stem. To continue this vivid style, I lined this with bright red with white polka dots.
The button is on the reverse side so as not to overpower the strawberry image. The button is a lovely heart, red, ceramic-look but actually plastic so it is light and easy to close and open.
A true sweetie!

Bag #746
Style: Messenger - Intarsia
Name: Lilac Wine
Price: $25.00
Yarn: Acrylic. Lilac, red, brown, green, pink sparkle.
Button: Big red plastic sparkly heart.
Lining: Cotton. Pink with white cats graphic.
Size: 12" wide at base x 11" deep.
Note: This lilac is a new color for me and I love it! This bag is soft but substantial. I used a truly vivid red for these cherries, and note the little pink sparkle accent on the cherries. A gentler green but another color I love and I think it works.
The button closure is one of my big plastic sparkly hearts that works beautifully here. The lining is thick fabric, which adds to the structure, in pink with white cartoon cats, which also works.
This is a sweet bag!
746. Lilac Wine. $25.00
Bag #750
Style: Handbag - Intarsia
Name: Space Mushroom
Price: $20.00
Yarn: Acrylic. Bright pink, yellow, purples, green, turquoise, orange, purple mix.
Button: Black toggle.
Lining: Cotton. Vintage leafy pattern.
Size: 13" wide at base x 8.5" deep.
Note: This is a fantastic bag in the brightest pink, featuring a multicolored mushroom! Or is it a spaceship? So ... the Space Mushroom! The lining is thick fabric with a leafy design, and the button is a sturdy toggle. I used purple mix for the handbag-length straps which are so cute!
A keeper.

Bag #762
Style: Handbag - Intarsia
Name: 4 Carrots
Price: $20.00
Yarn: Acrylic, wool. Yellow, oranges, greens, navy.
Button: Orange plastic 4-hole.
Lining: Cotton. Leafy jungle-look fabric.
Size: 12" wide at base x 9" deep.
Note: I have knitted a few of my carrots bags over the years, but they are all different in bag design and size. This is the first where all the carrots are different colors! This came about because I could not pick just one orange or one green, they all looked so great against the yellow. As a contrast, I added 2 navy handbag handles. I think it works well.
The button closure is (of course!) bright orange, and the lining is my thick leafy/jungly look fabric, which gives the bag solidity and structure.
Crunch, crunch!

Bag #731
Style: Handbag - Intarsia
Name: Spill the Beans
Price: $20.00
Yarn: Acrylic. Orange, turquoise, gold, white, black.
Button: Big plastic orange 4-hole.
Lining: Cotton. Thick fabric, floral-look pattern.
Size: 11" wide at base x 9" deep.
Note: I love British baked beans and this is my tribute to the iconic can.
It is the boldest, on a background of very vivid nuclear orange, with the can in its classic turquoise, white, black and red. I did the straps one in orange and one in turquoise.
I added a big orange plastic button closure, not to detract from the design. The lining is very thick fabric I have been using recently and is floral in design, though if you squint a bit it can look like someone spilled those beans!

Bag #740
Style: Handbag - Intarsia
Name: Table
Price: $20.00
Yarn: Acrylic, wool. Light turquoise, yellow, green, blues, red, browns.
Button: Small brown leather look plastic.
Lining: Vintage repurposed bedsheets: black with zig-zag.
Size: 12" wide at base x 9" deep.
Note: Lets add a table!
I found a photo of a fantastic midcentury modern sidetable that was many colored tiers and decided to knit it. As a cartoon take on this, I think this came out pretty well! Note the different brown on the bottom of the table legs to represent the "copper" feet, and the blue strip in each table tier to give it that 3D look!
I lined it with vintage fabric black with zigzags which is perfect for this bag. Small button.
This turquoise yarn has an thick texture and bag came out lovely and chunky.

Bag #769
Style: BoobyKeep - Intarsia
Name: Orange You Great!
Price: $10.00
Yarn: Acrylic. Orange, green, brown.
Button: Small brown cardigan button.
Lining: Thick cotton. Floral pattern.
Size: 6.5" wide at widest point; 6" deep at the deepest point.
Note: Continuing with knitting some fruits, this is an orange! I added a green accent leaf, and brown cardigan button closure. Lined with thick fabric, floral pattern.
For the crossbody strap, I used a technique I haven't used for a while to create a cord, in brown, single stitch but double thickness yarn. Fun!

Button: Small light purple plastic flower.

Size: 6.5" wide at widest point; 6" deep at the deepest point.
Note: Continuing with knitting some fruits, this is a blueberry. I added a green accent leaf, and purple flower button closure. Lined with black fabric/white polka dots.
For the crossbody strap, I used a technique I haven't used for a while to create a cord, in brown, single stitch but double thickness yarn. Fun!

Bag #766
Style: BoobyKeep - Intarsia
Name: AppleHeart
Price: $10.00
Yarn: Acrylic. Red, green, brown.
Button: Small bright green plastic flower.
Lining: Cotton. Red with white polka dots.
Size: 9" wide at widest point; 5" deep at the deepest point.
Note: Something different! This is the apple design I made for an intarsia bag, but here, I just knitted the apple. It came out looking something like a heart, hence the name!
I added a green accent and green flower button closure; lined with red fabric/white polka dots.
For the crossbody strap, I used a technique I haven't used for a while to create a cord, in brown, single stitch but double thickness yarn. Fun!

Bag #743
Style: BoobyKeep - Intarsia
Name: A Little Fruity!
Price: $5.00
Yarn: Acrylic. Yellow, red, greens, pink.
Button: Small plastic red apple.
Lining: Cotton. Pink with white cats graphic.
Size: 7" wide at base x 6" deep.
Note: This BoobyKeep adapts a piece of my larger cherry design for a big bag, though it could be a cranberry, or other small berry, or a tiny crabapple! And I added an apple button closure. So it is ... "A Little Fruity".
This bag is lined with thick fabric in pink with a white cat cartoon. I love this cutie!
743. A Little Fruity!
Bag #712
Style: BoobyKeep - Intarsia
Name: UFO or Turnip?
Price: $10.00
Yarn: Acrylic. Pink, purples including sparkle, lime.
Button: Small vintage pearl-and-gold look.
Lining: Cotton. Pink with white cats graphic.
Size: 7" wide at base x 6" deep.
Note: BoobyKeeps adapt smaller versions of intarsia designs originally created for bigger bags.
Here, on a background of vivid pink, I flattened my normally larger rutabaga/turnip, added some sparkly purple then threw is some lime for the greens.
This bag is lined with thick fabric in pink with a white cat cartoon; and is finished with a vintage pearl-and-gold-look button closure.
Miss B label on the back.
As a result we have maybe a turnip or maybe a UFO? Definitely intriguing!
