Welcome!

My name is Esther Clayton. 

I am a 27 year old developing into my womanhood. I’ve taken my 20’s intentionally to learn about myself and grow. 

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from following my star, it’s that, in order to be a community member, we need to see each other. 

We need to see each other to impact each other. When I was 15 years old, I desperately needed to see a 27 year old doing the things I am doing now. 

Without a shadow of a doubt, I know there's at least one 15 year old girl out there that needs to see someone like me. 

This race for Miss New York USA is for her. It's for the 15 year old girl that still lives inside of me. It's for sisterhood. 

It's for the future of our city.
