Resources for Parents

Daily Procedures

- Daily Folders -

Each student in the class has received a red, orange, yellow, green or blue folder.

Students were directed to mark the left hand pocket "Teacher" and the right hand pocket "Parent."

Check the folder each day for school notifications and forms. Students are required to bring the folder to school and home every day. Send any notes to school via this folder.

- Late Arrivals -

Make sure to have a written excuse prepared to hand in upon late arrivals.

- Transportation Changes and Early Pick-Ups -

If your child's mode of transportation will be different for the day, send a note in with your child in the morning notifying this change. Please include the following information:

            • how the child will be going home
            • at what time the child will depart
            • child's name and date
            • your signature

A written note is the best way to communicate this message. When calling to notify the office, keep in mind that phone calls for transportation are received before 2:00 PM.

Thank you for doing everything possible to help us keep your children safe!

- Absences -

If your child is absent, work will be collected over the period of his/her absence and will be given to him/her upon their return to school. Each student will be given a timeline to complete this work after his/her return.
