My name is Morgan Bohrer and I grew up in Brunswick, Ohio. I just moved to Holly Ridge, North Carolina and am excited for new adventures! In my free time, I enjoy coaching soccer, photography, reading, and spending time with my friends and family.
I am a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I have been issued my Ohio resident educator license (PK-3). My cumulative grade point average when I graduated from Baldwin Wallace University was a 3.8. During my clinical practice experience, I was given the opportunity to continue my student teaching experience as a long-term substitute in a first-grade classroom (contracted by North Coast Shared Services Alliance). This unique experience has allowed me to be fully immersed in the classroom as a full-time classroom teacher. It has truly allowed me to learn in the most practical situation. Since then I have continued to work at Brook Park Elementary, within the Berea City School District as a Title I Substitute, Building Substitute, a Long Term Kindergarten Substitute, Kindergarten Teacher and a Second Grade Teacher. I have gone through unique experiences that have allowed me to grow as an educator, it has shown that teaching is a never stopping cycle of learning.
Ever since I was a little girl, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. Growing up I admired every teacher that I had, and each one inspired me in different ways. I learned that there are many children that need love, reassurance, and attention, and I strive to be that person that builds them up. I want my students to know that they are capable of anything and can be anything that they want to be.
In the future, I would love to have the opportunity to moderate a reading club or photography club!
