How can I view my child's grades?
Grades are updated in Google Classroom and posted into Home Access Center for parents and students to view.

How can I stay up to date with my child's events and activities?
Each month, I will send home a newsletter with your student. I will also post any announcements to our Google Classroom.
What is your email address?
My email address is madison.jackson1@smail.astate.edu and I will only respond during school hours.
Where can I find extra practice for my student?
There are plenty of extra practice resources listed here!
What time does my student need to arrive at school?
Breakfast is served at 7:30am and school starts at 7:55am each day.
What time does my student need to be picked up?
School is dismissed at 3:05pm each day.
How many days is my student able to miss throughout the school year?
Your student can miss up to 7 days, but we encourage families to make an effort to miss no more than 5 days in a school year.
How many students are in the class?
This year, I have 24 students! 13 girls and 11 boys.
What should I do if I miss school?
On the day you return to school, get in touch with me, and I will get you caught up on anything you might have missed while absent.
Will we be given homework?
As long as students complete their work in class, they will not be given additional homework throughout the week. However, students who do not use class time wisely may be told to complete the assignment at home so they do not fall behind.
What should I do if my student is falling behind?

Am I able to check my student out early?
All checkouts before 2:30 will need to be handled at the office. You will have to show a form of ID in order to check your student out.
