My name is Miss Hall, and I’m so excited to be the 2nd grade teacher at Ellinwood Grade School this year! I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to be your teacher and can’t wait for a school year full of learning, fun, and new adventures.

A little about me — I was born and raised in Salina, Kansas, and have lived here most of my life. I graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University in 2020 with my degree in education. I’m the oldest of three siblings — my younger sister is 25, and my little brother is 10. I love spending time with my friends and family.

This is my 6th year teaching, and I absolutely love what I do! My teaching style is very hands-on, because I believe students learn best when they are actively engaged and learning with their hands. Some of my favorite things to teach are math and phonics, and I enjoy finding creative ways to make learning exciting and meaningful.

This year, we’ll be doing lots of fun projects, engaging activities, and working together to grow as learners and friends.

In my free time, I enjoy watching sports — especially college football and Chiefs football.
