In our classroom, we focus on encouraging positive behaviors and creating a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment for everyone. I teach and reinforce clear expectations for different routines throughout the day to help students succeed.
To support positive behavior, we use a reward system that celebrates students’ good choices and efforts. When misbehavior happens, appropriate consequences are applied thoughtfully and fairly. While I prefer not to take away all of recess time, sometimes I may ask students to walk laps during part of recess as a consequence for unacceptable behavior.
I believe in open communication and will keep parents informed about their child’s behavior to work together as a team.
My goal is to help every student feel valued and motivated to learn!
Attendance is recorded daily, and I will communicate with you if there are any concerns. For behavior, I emphasize positive choices and will keep you informed about your child’s behavior and any important notes to support their success.
