A) Yes! We love the idea of you getting to spend time with your child throughout the day. You are required to check-in at the office, and receive a visitors pass.
A) Yes! I encourage parents to try to read at least one book to your child each day. You can have them start reading books on their level to you. This small amount of time will benefit your child exponentially.

A) To find your childs' grades, go to HAC (Home Access Center). The link, as well as, your login were emailed to you the first week of school! Feel free to reach out if you are having trouble.
A) I always put more emphasis on their strengths and try to discuss them more frequently. This encourages them and they will begin to work harder in the things they are struggling with. However, we don't let the weaknesses get away from us. We definitely work on them as well, but in a more positive way.
A) We have different centers they can visit during center time. These centers encourage a lot of creativity from the students. We also have art one time a week and incorporate art into many things in the classroom.
A) During my prep time (2:15-3:00) on Wednesday! Be sure to email to schedule your meeting ASAP.
A) Their makeup work will be sent home with them when they return, or you can come get it while they are out. They will have two days to complete and return. If there are special circumstances, email me and we will work something out.
A) We, almost always, encourage parents to attend. We typically need volunteers for field trips, so keep an eye on Class DoJO for information on that. Information about field trips will be sent out at the earliest time possible. Rules will be consistant with those at school!
A) Typically, no! The work that is sent home, shouldn't be any problem to finish in the time provided. However, I will discuss special circumstances, if asked BEFORE the due date.
A) Yes! Most assignments (especially tests) will include bonus points.
