What is this AP US Government Test going to look like? What do I need to know?

• Section 1: You will have 55 multiple choice questions with 4 answer choices and 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete this section. It will count 50% of your final grade.
• Section 2: This will be comprised of 4 free response questions, each worth 12.5% for a total of 50% of your final grade. You are suggested to spend 20 minutes each on the first 3 questions and 40 minutes on the fourth question.

  • Quantitative Analysis (question that requires analysis of a chart or graph)
  • SCOUTS Comparison (from our 15 required SCOUTS cases)
  • Argument Essay (tied to our 10 foundational documents)
