Home AUP

This is a template I have created for you to make an AUP for your home. An AUP can be a great thing for your home! It is a good way to set rules and establish borders and consequences in your home. You as parents are not required to do this, but I have found that an AUP can be extremely helpful with setting rules and boundaries from the get go.

This template is a great place to start your AUP, but you can make it however you would like to! If you choose to make your own AUP, you can have a discussion with your children about it, explain what it is and how it works. Another great thing to do is have your child/children help you create these rules and consequences. I have seen how much of a difference it makes when you let the kids help make these AUPs. Then after it is created how you want, you can all sign it to agree to follow these rules.
