Our mission remains steadfast: raising awareness about nutrition and mental health within the Latino community, particularly among individuals with limited English proficiency.
Throughout our high school and college careers, we aim to grow as a nonprofit organization, connect with other well-known latino organizations such as la casa de esperanza, granja hogar, etc. and maintain a consistent presence on social media. By doing so, we hope to extend our impact and bring meaningful resources to a broader audience.
We are excited to create more interactive experiences for our community. One initiative includes introducing a segment on our podcast where listeners can submit personal questions related to mental health. These questions will be addressed by our professional guest speakers, offering insights and guidance. This segment will provide our followers with a unique opportunity to engage directly and gain valuable perspectives from mental health professionals.
Additionally, we plan to launch our very own newsletter, providing weekly emails that include volunteering opportunities, mindfulness tips, and mental health check-ins. This resource will serve as a regular reminder for our followers to practice protective factors and incorporate them into their daily lives.
We remain dedicated to raising awareness about nutrition and mental health within the Latino community, especially among those with limited English proficiency. Our ongoing fundraisers, such as bake sales and sticker sales, play a vital role in supporting organizations. Additionally, we aim to strengthen our mission by forming new partnerships with like-minded organizations to amplify our impact. These collaborations will help us further engage the community and bring meaningful resources to those in need.
