They're a nation of craftspeople, using slave labor to harvest raw resourses so that they might be able to create something truly wonderous. Each piece is not made for profit, it's made for the sake of creation. Profit is just a bonus.

A mining colony on a planetoid within the Usdam Asteroid belt, this colony exists in a barren waste. The slave labor there is made to mine mithril ore all day and through the night in 12 hour shifts. The relatively tall dwarf that runs the place, Koram Tinderlint, considers his art to be in the loom and spends his days working with woven cloth from his high tower, overseeing the work below, his personal slaves at his side.
