Miriam Boucher

Associate Wildlife Biologist \ Graduate Research Assistant

About Me

I am a Canadian from Calgary, Alberta, with a passion for crocodilians and wildlife biology. I am a doctoral student with Dr. James T. Anderson at Clemson University's Kennedy Waterfowl and Wetlands Conservation Center. My professional interests include wildlife conservation and management and the intersection of these fields with human activities. My current research involves exploring alligators as sentinels for environmental pollutants in wetlands throughout the southeast United States. Throughout my career, I have worked in academia, with not-for-profit organizations, and with the private sector as an environmental consultant. I am a professional in evolution and always looking for new avenues for professional development, collaborations, and support of diversity and inclusion in this field.
