Johannes Feist

Ramón y Cajal (tenure-track) fellow

Departamento de Física Teórica de la Materia Condensada

Areas of expertise / interest:

  • Theoretical Nanophotonics and Plasmonics

  • Quantum Optics

  • Molecular Polaritonics & Polaritonic chemistry

  • Attosecond Physics

Short bio:
Johannes finished his PhD in 2009 at TU Vienna, spent three years as a postdoc at ITAMP (at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics), and moved to Madrid in 2012 (first as postdoc with F.J. García Vidal, then as tenure-track professor). His research focuses on the theoretical investigation of phenomena at the intersection of nanophotonics, quantum optics and molecular physics.
