Exercise the mind & body... Similar to traditional psychotherapy, except we are including mindful movement while we are talking about your concerns. I have found that being able to move the body, helps lower stress and enriches the counseling session. My clients are naturally drawn to being outside and appreciate nature which can include Parks and Waterfront/Beach options. This also includes mindful meditative resting/bench moments as well. This style of counseling is very helpful for anxious or fidgety folks. We can also include your service or emotional support animal, or my Therapy Dog as an option.
