For Daniel, prayer was a kind soul exercise carried out as an arduous and intense spiritual work. It requires effort, endurance, and even suffering from the soul.
We should note that the determining factor that prompted Daniel to pray was his study of God's Word. The Word reveals God's will. A review of the Word of God, followed by prayer, is the formula for determining God's will.
These are the promises that Daniel read and appear in Jeremiah 25:11, "All this land will be turned into ruins and dread, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon for seventy years." And also in Jeremiah 29:10, he should have read, "10 For thus saith the Lord, When in Babylon the seventy years are spoken, I will visit you and awaken upon you my good word, to bring you back to this place."
Daniel's prayer was very personal. It concerned him and his people, which was evident by the repeated use of the first-person pronoun, saying "I," "we," and "our." These pronouns appear 41 times in this sentence.
Let us remember that at the time we emphasized, that Nebuchadnezzar used this same pronoun over and over again. What was the difference? For Nebuchadnezzar, it was a sign of pride, a symbol of vanity. The contrast with Daniel's use of personal pronouns was remarkable. It denotes humility, confession, turmoil, and shame, in contrast to Nebuchadnezzar's pride and flattery.
Daniel's attitude was the appropriate attitude that we should take as we approach God in prayer.
God is not going to leave us altogether, but he will certainly not move for us until you and I take place where we can cry out for God's mercy and stop making excuses for us.
One of the prophets Daniel's most distinctive prayers was the following:
"Hey, Lord! Sir, I'm sorry! Listen, Lord, and do it! Don't belong, for the sake of yourself, my God, because your name is invoked upon your city and on your people."
Daniel's plea. I asked God to listen and respond to who I was and what I had promised. There was nothing good left in Israel.
Daniel didn't beg because he was Daniel. Instead, he associated himself with the people and said, "We have sinned," including himself. It is that the name of God was at stake, and Daniel was deeply concerned about the name of God and the glory of God; this was the basis of his plea and request.
After seeing a summary of the prophet Daniel's history, we understand a little better his influence on religious history and his way of praying echoes in our day.
But you may wonder, what if I am not the most versed in these themes of prayer, spiritual rejoicing, how would it be possible to help me in the manifestation and lead a more harmonious life?
¿IS IT POSSIBLE TO MANIFEST MIRACLES WITH THE POWER OF PRAYER?
Prayer is like a balm for the Spirit because a powerful prayer is a bridge to manifesting and creating blessings in your life. Some call the law of attraction, which, unfortunately, has misrepresented the meaning.
In times of restlessness, anguish, and crisis, we turn to prayer, but we don't know how to do it in a way to be heard.
If we understand how the law of attraction works appropriately, and we can identify what my mistake can be when I plant a sentence. How can I do it properly, just like Daniel did?
These two factors, the power of prayer, and the law of attraction, we know that knowledge is power, results in the ability to manifest miracles at will in your life.
Allow me to invite you if you wish to learn this wisdom in a more detailed way, applying from the knowledge and method of prayer of Daniel. The Miracle of 7-Day Prayer program contains distilled wisdom that details the differences between the two halves of reality so you can know where you are with heaven, and be the architect of miracles in your life.
