From the time Godo was small, he loved cars!  He loved driving them, watching them, taking them apart, etc.  He went to school to become a mechanic and always had a way with cars.   It must have been hereditary because his sons, especially Blake, also love cars! 

Even though Godo was born in Peru, he came to the United States at 22 years old.  After Marrying Ashley, he returned to Peru to adopt his oldest son,  Austin. 

Not only did Godo embrace a new new culture in the USA, but he was also a great sport when it came to joining the culture of the Heslington family.  Ashley's family had a tradition of spotlighting a person in the family each week for doing something above and beyond.  They would sing a song to the "super spotlight" while wearing the sunshine hat.
