Activities
Woody's Reserve - Own and maintain about 100 acres of native prairie and woods located 6 miles south of Owatonna on CR 45
Cooperate with Owatonna Public Schools to create and maintain Pollinator/Rain Garden at Owatonna Middle School and Lincoln Elementary School
Ahlborn Woods Wildlife Area - 21+ acres of woodland and restored prairie
Operate the Alfred F. Reding Environmental Education Center
Own and maintain public access to Oak Glen Lake & Minnesota Hwy. 218 Wildflower Route
Adopt a Highway (Minnesota Hwy. 218) - 4 miles
Cooperate with Owatonna College and University Center to restore 4 acres of prairie
Cooperates with Friends of Rice Lake State Park to host Rummage Sale in October.
Undeveloping 4 1/2 acres of native prairie at Ulrich Acres
Adopt a River (MDNR), the Izaak Walton Creek. Cooperates with Owatonna HS students to clean twice/year and remove invasive species.
Fundraise to purchase 45 acres of wetland to add to Somerset Wildlife Management Area (WMA) - the project is completed as of 9/2010 with help from Lessard Outdoor Heritage Funds ($180,000)
Make annual contributions to the Minnesota Division Scholarship Fund and Legacy Fund and also the Izaak Walton Camp at Deep Portage Learning Center
Provides leadership on state Board of Directors and Scholarship Committee
Provides leadership on the National Board of Directors
Sponsors and financially supports a Cub Scout pack that meets in the Reding Center (to the information about the Reding Center)

Works with 4-H to maintain Oak Glen Rest Area and offers awards for outstanding projects at Steele Co. Free Fair
