Victor Lee is the founder of the Ministry for Thinking and SRI2 International Consultants. He has worked in Asia Development Bank's Indonesia Development Fund management before answering a call to school chaplaincy, church ministry, and Adventist World Radio broadcast production in Singapore. This led to UN interfaith human and food security projects on TVRI and video productions on the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) with ADRA Indonesia, Nippon Koei, JBIC, JICA and Cornell University.
He coordinates an international network of collaborations with universities, top government officers, and agriculture industry leaders, providing them with sustainable agriculture and food security strategies to meet the challenges of climate change and soil degradation. He studied Theology at Avondale College (NSW, Australia), Political Science at Flinders University (Singapore Campus), and has been educating people for twenty years in the new rubric of Agroecological Epigenetics developed at Cornell International Institute for Food, Agriculture and Development (CIIFAD). He was born in Indonesia, grew up in Sydney Australia and has made Borneo (for its megabiodiversity) his home for the past ten years. He believes that, “The church is the hope of the world, and our Christ-centered biblical beliefs will develop intelligent spirituality for courageous service that leads to rejuvenating vitality.”
