As a neuroscientist, I apply methods from probabilistic theory, psychology, neuroscience and machine learning to understand the computation performed by the human brain. In addition to performing empirical research on human cognition, I develop new computational tools for understanding brain imaging data. I am a co-developer and committer of BrainIAK. I am also interested in bringing inspiration from human cognition and neuroscience to artificial intelligence.
I am currently a postdoc working with Yael Niv at Princeton University. I will start a lab in the International Research Center for Neurointelligence of the University of Tokyo in December, 2019. If you are interested in working with me as a postdoc or research assistant, please check out the positions and contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
