About
For updated information about my lab, please visit Cai Lab at IRCN, The University of Tokyo
As a neuroscientist, I apply methods from probabilistic theory, psychology, neuroscience and machine learning to understand the computation performed by the human brain. In addition to performing empirical research on human cognition, I develop new computational tools for understanding brain imaging data. I am a co-developer of BrainIAK. I am also interested in bringing inspiration from human cognition and neuroscience to artificial intelligence.
I am a Principal Investigator and Assistant Professor at the International Research Center for Neurointelligence of the University of Tokyo. If you are interested in working with me as a postdoc or research assistant, please check out the positions and contact me at mingbo [dot] cai [at] ircn [dot] jp.
