About
For updated information about my lab, please visit Cai Lab at IRCN, The University of Tokyo (the lab will be moving to Department of Psychology, University of Miami in January, 2024)
As a neuroscientist, I apply methods from probabilistic theory, psychology, neuroscience and machine learning to understand the computation performed by the human brain. In addition to performing empirical research on human cognition, I develop new computational tools for understanding brain imaging data. I am a co-developer of BrainIAK. I am also interested in bringing inspiration from human cognition and neuroscience to artificial intelligence.
I am a Principal Investigator and Assistant Professor at the International Research Center for Neurointelligence of the University of Tokyo. If you are interested in working with me as a postdoc or research assistant, please check out the positions and contact me at mingbo [dot] cai [at] ircn [dot] jp.Â
