SPOILERS ARE ahead!!!!
V for Vendetta takes place in Great Britain where they become a fascist state. A masked 'criminal' known as "V" takes action- war against the government. V saves a woman who works with secret police and finds an ally with her. Now for those who have seen this film cannot deny how much we love V. Now personally I am not a fan of thrillers but this has to be one of the most lovable thrillers out there. I have rated this movie a 4/5 despite loving the movie entirely. To be honest I was a little peeved at the ending. In most movies we are on the good side of things. But this movie had me thinking, what if we are on the wrong side of history and just aiding our oppressors without realizing? If we are, why aren't we stopping it? And is it wrong to do illegitimate things to be on the right side and prevent unwanted misery? The answer is no. Our norms will continue to evolve along with common sense. I believe in ' you gotta do what you gotta do' in other words; any means necessary. The director/ writer makes us sympathize with V and we watch his backstory unfold on why he wants this change so badly. This was a great screw the government movie, and I’m so glad our main character Evey went through with the bombs. I would have done this same thing (so glad I don’t have power). The ending didn’t feel weak, but in a way it was? I can’t really describe it. I feel like in some way V is somehow still living. But if they would have made that in the movie then what would be the point? I don’t know. Kind of feel like Evey developed Stockholm syndrome? Also wish we could have seen his face more. In my opinion there wasn't any unique camera angles. ( A lot of close up/shots and medium shots. A few long shots but that was for the fighting scenes. We get extreme close ups but those were only to emphasizes on important plot movements. )
As a symbol it means something different to the people. It means change, it means vendetta. The people want this person to be the leader in the change. The symbol V brings people together for the cause. V also means venegences for what they did to him.
Number 5, the letter on V's door when he was being experimented on. The Brand of 5 and being the only alive is a burden. It was a label, the people experimenting on him called it. They dehumanize him. "November 5th"
After each individual V killed his victims he left roses. The roses are meant for his tormentors because of the connection he had with them. (Basically linking him to the murder's) Roses are such a delicate flower with thorns that cause harm. The citizens would have never known these people who are dead to be bad people.
Oh I love this movie. This movie will forever be in my heart. Despite every time I will ask someone if they have seen this movie- they will look at me as if my head is backwards. even though this movie is highly unrealistic- it's a kids movie based off the book. A trumpeter swan, Louie is mute. He can't sing like the rest and because of this he is an outcast. He tries to confess his attraction/love to this one girl and finds out she is being forced to marry a jerk. (Sorry for the bias but it's true) Louie runs away and becomes friends with a child that helps him find his voice. Louie learns how to read and comes back to try to communicate. It doesn't work. Writing doesn't work, so he plays the trumpet. He becomes famous but he gets into a bad business with this one dude that used him. He runs away because he finds out Serena (the girl he likes) is finally getting married to the dude. He stops the wedding and gets married to her.

Now I adore the music. I wish they could play freely on music apps but I haven't seen anything.
The author inserts his own books in the movie**
