Welcome to Mindmaxxing ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our iOS application (the "App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
We do not require account creation. Any information you voluntarily enter within the App (such as notes or task content) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Analytics. We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics. This includes:
App feature usage (e.g. which screens you visit)
Session duration and frequency
Device type and iOS version
App version
PostHog analytics data is anonymized and does not include personally identifiable information. You can review PostHog's privacy practices at https://posthog.com/privacy.
Crash and Performance Data. We may receive anonymous crash reports through Apple's built-in crash reporting. These reports help us fix bugs and do not include personally identifiable information.
If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat may collect a random device identifier and your subscription history. Review RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
We use the information we collect to:
Operate and improve the App
Understand how users interact with features
Diagnose crashes and technical issues
Verify subscription entitlements
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
All user-generated content (notes, tasks, preferences) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not store this data on our servers. You can delete all local data by uninstalling the App.
Anonymous analytics events are retained by PostHog for up to 12 months.

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
Deletion — request deletion of your data
Opt-out — disable analytics collection via your device's privacy settings
Because we collect minimal data, most requests can be fulfilled by uninstalling the App, which removes all locally stored data.
GDPR (EU/EEA residents): Our legal basis for processing anonymous analytics data is our legitimate interest in improving the App (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data controller is Mindmaxxing, reachable at tofumobileapps@gmail.com. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish data protection authority, Datatilsynet (www.datatilsynet.dk).
CCPA (California residents): We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know what data we collect and to request deletion.
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
