Holly Guelig, M.Ed., LPSC, has been a licensed professional school counselor in Henrico County, Virginia for 10 years. Her mission is to be a game-changer for kids and families. Guelig began her career working in a psychiatric hospital helping children and adolescents in crisis, which is where she recognized the opportunities and importance for prevention and early intervention. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in counselor education, as well as certifications in trauma and mental health first aid, and currently pursuing coursework toward additional counseling licensure. Her experience in the last 15 years includes work in grief and loss, mental health crisis care, and addiction recovery support. Guelig is a team leader on the Virginia Department of Education Career Development Work Group, serves on the Communications Committee for the Virginia School Counseling Association, is the co-creator of PRIMETIME RVA, and hosts community workshops on mental health.

Most recently, she was named Virginia’s 2022 Elementary School Counselor of the Year.
