Hypnobirthing Course with an Experienced Midwife
I provide hypnobirthing classes to help parents prepare for a peaceful and empowered birth. I use the KGH Hypnobirthing method (a complete antenatal course), and the entire class will be 12 hours in length. This is usually spaced over 2 days, at least one week apart.
KG Hypnobirthing is a complete antenatal training programme. It is simple, logical and profound. Make a difference to birth for you – and for your baby.

"When we birth, we don’t just birth babies. We birth ourselves, we birth our families and we reshape our lives." Sara Wickham
About Me
I am a midwife with 15 years of experience working in both hospital and community settings. I have also taught student midwives at the university, and this is where I discovered my passion for teaching.
I began teaching hypnobirthing classes in 2021, and these classes inspire parents to take ownership of their birth, leading to a more empowered experience. This experience can have lifelong benefits for parents and children.
I have 4 grown-up children and one grandchild. Their births have been key experiences in my life and have hugely shaped my identity as a parent, midwife, educator, woman, and human being.

What is Spinning Babies?
Spinning Babies® is a physiological approach to preparing for and caring for birth.
During birth, babies descend through the pelvis by turning to fit each curve in the passage. Baby’s turns are “fetal rotation.” If fetal rotation can be made easier, birth is easier for everyone.
