My research fortes are regarding cultures and histories of the Asia-Pacific region, as well as LGBTQ+ people from around the world. I strive to educate and open minds to new modes of understanding and possibilities of building bridges and strengthening ties between many peoples of which differences are most often highlighted. Instead, focusing on our similarities and how we can gain a sense of compassion and understanding towards each other and collaborate to help anyone in need.
My professional skill set revolved around andragogy (adult education), as well as ethnographic interviews, participant observation, statistical analysis, data entry, communications and computational software usage, qualitative data analysis, customer service, and in-depth research to provide benefit to marginalized peoples. I also heavily participate in volunteer-work to promulgate the education and acceptance of AANHPI communities in the Greater New York area, having volunteered for the AAPI Montclair organization, and participated in several events at both Bergen Community College (Asian Heritage Festival from 2015-present) and Montclair State University (World's Fair from 2022-present).
