Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, with emphasis in Medical Modeling and Simulation. Prior to joing ODU, I was a Chemical Engineer in the Division of Quantitative Methods and Modeling within the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). I am interested in computational medicine and physiology, AI/ML, large language models, statistical data analytics, and computational science in general.
Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow in Flow Physics and Computation Lab (FPCL) at Johns Hopkins University working with Dr. Rajat Mittal. For my PhD, I was in Cardiovascular Modeling and Simulation Lab at UNC Chapel Hill working with Dr. Boyce Griffith.
In my spare time, I spend most of my time with my family.
