What is the NJROTC Program about?
The Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) is a federally funded high school program that instructs and teaches students leadership qualities, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
WHAT WE DO:
Build leadership and character
Teach discipline and responsibility
Promote teamwork and respect
Encourage physical fitness
Participate in competitions and community service
Develop confidence and public speaking skills
Prepare students for college and careers
WHAT WE DON'T DO:
Require military enlistment
Send students to boot camp
Force participation in competitions
Focus only on military careers
Exclude students with no experience
