The Milos Conference Center – George Eliopoulos is located at Adamas (or Adamantas), the Milos Island’s main port, on a 10,000 sq. meters plot and it overlooks a beautiful gulf.

Getting to Milos & the Conference Center

Buses from the port to the venue will be scheduled and announced closer to the workshop dates

Getting to Milos: Most visitors prefer to board a ferry frpm Pireaus port (Athens) to Milos. The island boasts an airport, too, yet it is national and only receives domestic flights from the International Airport of Athens. To reach Milos from other islands, like Santorini or Mykonos, taking the ferry is the only available option.

by boat: There are regular ferry connections to Milos from mainland Greece throughout the year. The ferry to Milos usually travels directly from the port of Piraeus and Lavrion. The ferry from Athens (Piraeus) to Milos runs all year round, with at least 5 daily crossings in the high season.

by plane: The airlines that fly to Milos from Athens are Olympic Air, Aegean Airlines, and Sky Express. 

Getting to Milos Conference Center: The conference center is 5' drive or 30' walk from the main port of Adamantas.

A pan-European film concert for Life on our Planet

"Can the arts mobilise and energise audiences to tackle the big challenges of today? can they awaken the spirit of emblematic sites?

Through the powerful combination of Vivaldi's timeless music and climate-change data, the film The [uncertain] Four Seasons seeks to awaken global awareness about the urgent need to regenerate our planet. 

The European Union Youth Orchestra, representing the youth of Europe, united in the Cyclades, in a concert on the emblematic Greek island of Delos -the cosmopolitan centre of the Mediterranean in antiquity, now an open museum-  which came to life again! 

For the first time in its thousands of years of history, Delos welcomed a classical music orchestra for a broadcast concert of an international scope and great symbolic value. This event, an initiative of ALPHA MISSION - ΔΕLOS, underscored the critical intersection of art, mythology, and space technology, showcasing how music can energise and mobilise audiences towards sustainable action for the future of planet Earth."
