Coach Nick Wins a Major Award!
Just days after millions thrilled to the triumphs of Olympic swimmers such as Katie Ledecky and Leon Marchand, a Cedar Rapids swimming legend learned he is receiving a national honor. Nick Gearhart is the Kerry O'Brien Coach of the Year, an award given annually by U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS).

The Milky Way Masters Swim Team offers workouts and training for Masters Swimmers on a year-round basis for swimmers at all ability levels.
At most workouts, a coach is on deck to help with stroke technique and administer a work out. If you like to swim on your own, the two outside lanes are available.
You are welcome to come and try us out free of charge for 30 days. After that, the cost is ($30 per month via Paypal), plus $75 for a standard USMS membership.
