Once Around the Milky Way

Using MilkyWay3D.org data to "statistically" improve the spatial resolution of time-resolved simulations, this project will offer a tour of the physical conditions a star (like the Sun) would encounter as it travels on one ~230 Myr orbit around our Galaxy.
