Kelly was born and raised in Cranberry, PA and is a 2005 graduate of Cranberry High School. After high school, she attended the University of Pittsburgh where she received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Rehabilitation Science as well as certificates in Pathokinesiology in Rehabilitation and Psychosocial Issues in Rehabilitation. She then continued her education at Slippery Rock University where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2012.
Kelly began working as a pediatric physical therapist for Next Step Therapy, where she worked for four and a half years in early intervention and also worked in the outpatient clinic for a couple years. During this time, she also provided coverage for West Park Rehab on an as needed basis, working with patients with a variety of conditions throughout the lifespan. Then in 2016, Kelly accepted a permanent position with West Park Rehab developing a pediatric program for them. She worked with children from birth to teenagers with neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions as well as sports injuries in both the clinic and in the pool.
In 2018, Kelly founded Milestone Pediatric Therapy and returned to early intervention as an independent contractor. This allowed her to work more closely with the families of her patients while also allowing her to spend more time at home with her own family. Then in 2021, she made the decision to expand her company to also offer speech and occupational therapies as well as specialized instruction. The company has continued to grow since this time, and Kelly has now stepped into more of an administrative role, working only part-time as a physical therapist currently.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 amazing boys on their little farm in Franklin! She is active in her church and very involved in Children's Ministry and the Youth Group. Kelly is also the PTO President for Sandycreek Elementary and can frequently be found volunteering in the school. She has a passion for God, children, and helping people and feels like this job gives her the perfect opportunity to combine those loves into one mission!

Since moving to Pennsylvania, she has shifted her focus to helping families and their little ones through the Early Intervention system. Julia has absolutely loved getting to know the community through her families and co-workers. Helping parents and their little ones progress toward their goals has been the highlight of her transition to Pennsylvania.
Julia and her husband, along with their two dogs, relocated here from New York City. Together, they enjoy traveling, attending local sporting events, and getting to know their new community!
Courtney attended Slippery Rock University and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Adapted Physical Activity, and then went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013. She is currently employed as a full-time physical therapist for VNA Alliance, traveling and providing home care therapy for adults in our area. In 2021, she agreed to cover a maternity leave for Milestone and enjoyed it so much that she decided to stay on in a limited capacity since then. Courtney has loved working with the children, parents, and caregivers to achieve their goals and work toward their milestones together!
Courtney and her husband live in the Franklin area with their four awesome children. They are very outdoorsy people and love working on their tiny farm, where they have chickens, pigs, rabbits, and two large gardens.
Kristi is a 1993 graduate of Keystone High School. She attended Gannon University, where she received her bachelor's degree in science for Occupational Therapy. She has had the fortunate opportunity to grow her skills and gain vast experiences in several different areas of Occupational Therapy over the years.
Kristi began her career at HealthSouth Rehab Hospital, where she worked for six years in Neuro/TBI and Pediatric Early Intervention and Outpatient Services. Then she worked at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC for six years as the Civilian OT Amputee Supervisor. She then returned to Pennsylvania and worked for Clarion Forest Visiting Nurses Association for almost 9 years.
Then in 2021, Kristi accepted a job with Milestone and finally returned to her first love of working in pediatrics. She currently lives in the Knox area with her husband, young daughter, and dogs. Kristi has an obvious passion for working with children and the absolute perfect personality for this job! She has the reputation of being the fun one, is kind and compassionate, and is always smiling!
Katie attended Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA. She obtained a Bachelor of Health Science with a minor in Psychology in 2002, and then went on to receive her Master of Occupational Therapy in 2003.
Her past work experience includes RSI Pennsylvania, Westmoreland Intermediate Unit, Accessabilities, and Next Step Therapy. Katie has worked exclusively in pediatrics her entire career, as helping children has always been her passion. She is skilled in addressing fine motor skills, sensory needs, and feeding issues.
The best part of the job for Katie is making a special connection with the child and family as they all work together to witness the success of the child. With her many years of experience, as well as being a mother herself, Katie brings a special skill set to her therapeutic process.
Katie is blessed to live in her beloved hometown of Franklin with her sweet husband, their four wonderful children, and their adorable golden doodle named Sam. They enjoy hiking, kayaking, and spending time with family.
Kayla was raised in the Franklin area and graduated from Rocky Grove High School in 2009. She went on to receive a bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2013, followed by her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Clarion University in 2014.
Kayla began her career working as an outpatient pediatric speech therapist at Capable Kids in Hermitage. She then transitioned to the pediatric department of Sharon Regional Medical Center's outpatient clinic, where she gained a substantial amount of experience working with patients with a wide variety of conditions, including swallowing disorders, various syndromes, childhood apraxia of speech, receptive and/or expressive language disorders, cleft lip and/or palate, etc. It was here that Kayla credits a lot of her success and knowledge in the field to the veteran speech therapist she worked with, as well as mirroring her drive to achieve results. Then in 2019, Kayla decided to move closer to her hometown and accepted a job with Child Development Centers to work with children from birth to preschool age within the classrooms, serving the centers located in Venango and Crawford counties.
And finally in 2021, Kayla found her calling with Milestone. Initially, Kayla chose to make this shift to have more flexibility and time with her husband and three young boys, not knowing at the time how much she would absolutely love working in Early Intervention. It is truly a blessing for her to get to work so closely with each family and get to know them in the process, as well as to be able to share in the success of their child.
Although Kayla has worked with a wide variety of disabilities and disorders throughout the years, she has a lot of experience working with pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders, as well as with AAC (augmentative and alternative communication). Kayla truly believes that God has a purpose and a plan for every family she gets the pleasure to work with, and that it is through His strength that she can help!
Vanessa grew up in Confluence, PA, and graduated from Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School (yes, Turkeyfoot is a real school). In 2005, she began her undergraduate education at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2009, and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2010.
Following graduation, Vanessa was hired as the primary Speech-Language Pathologist at Berkley Springs Rehab and Nursing in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, where she specialized in dementia management and dysphagia therapy. While employed there, she gained certification in VitalStim therapy and assisted in developing the facility's new dementia management program.
In 2016, Vanessa became licensed in Pennsylvania and moved to Venango County, where she accepted an SLP position at Oakwood Heights Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Oil City. Despite the challenges of working in health care through the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vanessa enjoyed a fulfilling work experience at Oakwood Heights from 2016-2022 when she left to join the Milestone team. Through this transition she has continued to hone her skills with the adult population through her per diem work at local skilled nursing facilities and at UPMC Northwest as a casual SLP as well.
Vanessa joined the Milestone team in 2022 and immediately knew that this company was exactly where she was supposed to be. She has had a fantastic (and sometimes humbling) experience working with the birth-to-three population while serving children and families in Venango and Clarion Counties. While still relatively new to the pediatric therapy world, Vanessa sees this as an exciting new venture and is eager to pursue specialization in multiple areas, primarily pediatric dysphagia, as she has always found the experience of helping individuals with dysphagia highly rewarding.
Vanessa lives in the Seneca area with her husband and four amazing children. She enjoys cooking, baking, crafting, being outdoors, serving Jesus at her local church, and spending time with and going on adventures with her family. Vanessa is grateful for the Lord's perfect timing in providing her with the opportunity to work with Milestone and its amazing therapists!
Molly grew up in Greenville, PA, and graduated from Reynolds Jr/Sr High School in 2006. In the fall of that year, she started her undergraduate educational journey at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2010, and obtained her Master of Science in 2012 for Speech-Language Pathology.
Molly was immediately hired with Mohawk Elementary School to cover an extended maternity leave, where she stayed and volunteered to gain more experience until finding another job at Sharon Regional's outpatient center. There, she worked with pediatric and adult patients with a wide variety of diseases and disorders. Molly then permanently relocated to the Clarion area, accepting a position at Oakwood Heights in Oil City. However, after working there for a year, she realized that she ultimately wanted to work with pediatrics again.
She worked for over 5 years in the outpatient clinic, Early Intervention 0-3, and fulfilled several school contracts needing additional help throughout the school year and extended school year through Next Step Therapy. Unfortunately, the world took a hit when the year 2020 arrived, and Molly accepted a new job with Rehab Works through Warren General Hospital still working with pediatrics in the outpatient setting.
Molly missed the Early Intervention setting, however, so in 2022 she made the decision to drop down to PRN at Rehab Works, and get back into the Early Intervention game, joining the Milestone team! She has gained a breadth of knowledge with different diagnoses, disorders, and areas of need over the last several years working with pediatrics, including but not limited to Autism, childhood apraxia of speech, pediatric swallowing, AAC, etc. She takes pride in her love for further research in the field of Speech-Language Pathology, and welcomes continuing education to better serve kiddos and their families.
Molly still resides in the Clarion area with her husband, daughter, and 2 cats. She loves all things Fall and Halloween, reading, crafting, and spending time with loved ones. Molly is grateful for being more local with the therapist and families that Milestone works with, and has a true passion for connecting these kiddos to the adults in their lives!
Courtney grew up in the Franklin area and graduated from Franklin Area High School. In 2007, she began her undergraduate education at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2011, and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2012.
Following graduation, Courtney was hired as the primary Speech-Language Pathologist at Transitions Healthcare- Gettysburg, where she specialized in dementia management and dysphagia therapy. After working a year there, she accepted a position at a nursing home closer to home.
Courtney joined the Milestone team in 2023 and immediately knew that this company was exactly where she was supposed to be. Having 2 premature children of her own, she can empathize the emotional impact families can experience and is able to provide support and guidance through their early intervention journey.
Courtney resides in the Franklin area with her husband, 3 boys, and chocolate lab named Felix. In her spare time, she can be found watching her boys at the ball field or at the barn, volunteering at the school, and praising the good Lord for all the blessings in her life.
Krista grew up in Elk County and graduated from Ridgway High School. She attended IUP and then married her husband, Lee. They have 3 sons and have lived in the Clarion Area for over 20 years. Krista enjoys spending time with her family, attending her youngest son's events and taking walks with her dog Gemma. She is also passionate about health, fitness and nutrition.
When Krista's second son was born, she noticed a difference in his development. He was referred for Early Intervention services. At that time, there was not a speech therapist available in the area. This is when she started to question her decision to get a master's degree in library science. She chose to study speech language pathology and found her calling.
Krista graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2006 with her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. She provided services to adults in a rehabilitation facility for 6 months. With a desire to work with children, she started providing speech therapy in Early Intervention and a pediatric clinic. Krista now has 18 years of experience in EI, working with infants and toddlers. She has provided therapy to children with a variety of medical diagnoses, including clefts, gastric tubes, craniofacial anomalies, neurological disorders, complex syndromes, autism, hearing impairment and apraxia. She has completed extensive training in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders, aural rehabilitation and autism. One of her most rewarding experiences is helping families wean their children off of a feeding tube and on to a healthy oral diet!
Starting with the inspiration to help her own son, she continues to be inspired by the wonderful children and their families she has the privilege to serve. "Every precious little one has taught me something new and it is an honor to be a part of their unforgettable journey in the first three years of life." Krista is excited and blessed to join the team at Milestone Pediatric Therapy. "I know this is the next adventure the Lord has for me in my career!"

Abby and her husband live in the Franklin area and have adopted two beautiful children. Her son was born very premature and has received extensive Early Intervention services.
Because Abby is also a special needs parent who has been on the receiving end of our services, she is uniquely qualified for this position and can offer guidance and support to families who are struggling with similar situations! Alyssa grew up in a town called Penn and graduated from Penn-Trafford High School (about 2 hours from Clarion). After high school, she moved to pursue her degree in early childhood and special education from Clarion University, where she graduated in 2014. In her journey with her education, she fell in love with her husband and the small town community surrounded by nature.
Her career began as a preschool teacher working for Jefferson-Clarion Head Start & Pre-K Counts for 2.5 years. She then transitioned to teaching Autism Support for grades K-6 for the Riverview Intermediate Unit #6, where she taught for almost 8 years. During this time, she obtained her Master's degree in Special Education with a concentration in Behavior Management and an Autism endorsement certificate from Edinboro University in 2019.

Broock was born in Oil City and has remained in the local area since graduating from Oil City High School in 2004. She obtained her LPN in 2011 and worked for a brief time in geriatric care, but quickly moved on to the field of drug and alcohol rehab. In 2013, she began working at Turning Point and transitioned to Director of Admissions in 2018, overseeing both Turning Point and French Creek Recovery Center up until April of 2021. At that time, she accepted a new position with Pyramid Healthcare where she was an admission coordinator and finished out her time as supervisor of that team.
It was a complete career shift to go from substance abuse to Early Intervention, but very much a God-led decision. She has acquired many office skills over the years and is excited to be a part of her local community again, blessing others as she has been so graciously blessed. Milestone has entrusted her with an opportunity to oversee office management and billing, and this is where she hopes to settle in for the foreseeable future.
Broock lives in Venus with her husband, two children, and springer spaniel named Hannah. She enjoys making others laugh, bringing words of encouragement to others, and spending time with friends and family.
