Lesson 3 

Hi, everyone! I hope all of you are doing great. In this lesson you are going to explore some recycling processes. How is the process materials undergo in order to be recycled?  Let's find out! 🌱 

You are going to watch some videos about how the different items are recycled: paper and cardboard, cans, glass, plastic, e-waste and organic waste.

Now, get into 6 groups and choose one type of waste to work with (don't repeat materials) and explore how it is recycled by watching the corresponding video below.

REMEMBER TO TURN ON THE SUBTITLES IF YOU NEED TO 

After you watch the videos go to your Google Doc and put the processes in order (just the one that you chose). 👉 Remember that you can watch the videos more than once if you need to!

Now that you have your steps in order, come back to this page and summarize the information in a mind map using any of the following tools:

You should include:

🌷 A title indicating which process you are presenting 

🌷 The steps you put in order previously

🌷 Images showing the differents steps (bins, transportation truck, any machinery present during the process, etc)

🌷 Any fun fact present in the videos that you find interesting (Eg: recycled cans can be back on sale in just 8 weeks)

🌷 Visual appeal: colors, arrows, shapes, etc. 

(I will check your mind maps before you start designing your posters in the Art class so I can make sure that you are going on the right track. Summit them in classroom)
