The first script, I wrote, was for my personal project at college. Set in a zombie apocalypse, where people have become lawless, committing harmful acts to survive. It was a short story or an episode, I like to think, where a mercenary takes a job to save a woman's daughter from a slaver. it was, performed live on stage where we, individually, had to create our own performance piece in any style we wanted. This was ideally a passion project of mine that I wanted to write as a book, I figured it would be a good chance to improve my writing skills for the stage. I was inspired by a dark fantasy story created by a Japanese manga writer, and I wanted to do something similar but set in a zombie-infested world. Writing it was a difficult task for the stage was a huge challenge for me because I had to think about staging props, staging, character costumes, and props. But, most of all the character's motivations and personalities mainly the protagonist, Laurence, who I played. How I envisioned was that he was cold and ruthless, but with a moral code and keeps his emotions to himself, and he harbours a tragic past to himself which is something that occurs in a dream scene. Now, you probably think that playing the main character I had a lot of depth to work with, but no, it was the opposite. I couldn't really grasp his character and needed to practice most of my free time at home to better him as a character to show moments of weakness around other characters and cold confidence in his skills as a fighter in each scene to make him compelling to the audience.

Mad Love
Mad Love was based on an episode from the Batman animated series, about the origin of Harley Quinn. I wanted to do something that I felt more familiar with as a Batman fan but, mostly because I wanted to play the Joker. I used dialogue from the animated series and from the video Batman Arkham Asylum in my script, working out staging each scene to create a unique setting. The story center's on Harleen Quinzel, as she is manipulated and seduced by her patient the Joker, Batman's arch-nemesis, into breaking him out of the asylum. this was another project for college, so there wasn't much stage design put in, and no backdrops, so we kind of had to use what was found in our theatre. I felt more confident in directing something that I have a huge grasp on and a better understanding of the characters. I wanted to play the Joker because, well who doesn't? but, mainly because in one group activity we were tasked with doing a short piece of a film we have seen; one group did Alien but I suggested to my group we do a short scene of The Killing Joke a comic book written by Alan Moore of the Joker's origin. at the end of the scene, my characterization was scary to everyone watching and my laugh at the end was bone-chilling. so, that one moment was why I thought it would be fun to do as a project, just with Harley Quinn's story in the center.
Apologies for the video's portrait display.

THE COURAGEOUS CATHEDRAL
This was about a team of three superheroes called Ace-girl, Fowlman, and Big Man Kev who later find out that one of them will be replaced by a new superhero called Moon-man. it was created as a Mockumentary in the style of the office, with quirky, funny humour. I played Big Man Kev, an alien who cannot speak and is referred to as the light-hearted member of the group, keeping them all together. This was one of my peer's projects in college where we filmed it on camera, doing three takes so we could make a few perfect scenes. I think volunteering in this project allowed me to improvise in each scene and I was able to make Big Man Kev more involved in the team instead of just being a background character, who can show his personality through his gestures, facial expressions, and his movement, which I believed were key to his character, especially since he's from another planet he doesn't have a full understanding of human customs.

Back To The Future-On Stage
Here I starred in a small role as Biff from Back To The Future, this was performed on stage for one of my peer's projects at Gloucester College. It was based on the film's scene when George, Marty's Dad from the past, finally grows a backbone and punches Biff, who was harassing Lorraine. It ends in the iconic prom scene with Johnny Be Good being sung out loud and playing on guitar. A brilliant piece to set up and perform on stage. I really enjoyed playing Biff because I am great at playing antagonistic characters, especially bullies.
