I am lecturer at the University of Aberdeen, where my research group works at the intersection of quantitative genetics, immunology and single-cell biology to understand the genetic regulation of cell-cell communication and microscopic tissue architecture.
My lab vision is the life course engineering of the immune system to promote healthy ageing. We aim to achieve this by blending computation and experimentation to identify the molecular and cellular mechanisms affected by ageing and genetics to pinpoint interventions that improve immune ageing trajectories.
In my spare time I run and climb, sometimes on plastic, sometimes in the mountains; it's always fun.
