Here you can find some of my very best chess problems composed in recent years (a three-year cycle 2016-2018). The problems are divided into three sections: twomovers, helpmates, and selfmates. There is a separate pdf file for each of these sections. All the pdf files are organized in a similar fashion. The problems' diagrams are shown with full and detailed solutions. Each diagram is also accompanied with a summary of the analysis of the thematic content presented in the problem. Hope you enjoy it!
Twomovers (2016-2018)
The pdf file to the right contains a presentation of the summary of the analysis of some of my very best twomovers from the 2016-2018 period. Depending on the problem, the analysis summaries are sometimes more, sometimes less detailed. In general, they are written assuming at least a basic understanding of the rules of chess as well as a basic understanding of the chess composition concepts.
Helpmates (2016-2018)
The pdf file to the left contains a presentation of the analysis summaries of some of my very best helpmates from the 2016-2018 period. As above, depending on the problem, the analysis summaries are sometimes more, sometimes less detailed. Since helpmates are generally more well-known to the audience more experienced in chess composition, some of the presented analysis summaries are written on an expert level and at first may appear as more suited for composers and chess problems solvers with a substantial helpmates experience. Still, anyone with a basic understanding of the rules of chess as well as a basic understanding of the helpmates chess composition concepts should be able to follow the content.
Selfmates (2016-2018)
The pdf file to the right contains a presentation of the analysis summaries of some of my very best selfmates from the 2016-2018 period. Similarly to the above twomovers and helpmates presentations, some of the analysis summaries are written on an expert level whereas some are written so that a basic understanding of the rules of chess and a basic understanding of the slefmates chess composition concepts should be sufficient to follow the content.
