Miguel Aranda is a researcher in robotics. He earned his PhD in Systems Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Zaragoza, Spain, in 2015. He held postdoctoral research positions at Institut Pascal in Clermont-Ferrand, France, for over five years. He is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Zaragoza, in the Ramón y Cajal Program.
His recent research has been focused on two main topics: control of multirobot systems, and robotic manipulation of deformable objects. He has undertaken leading roles in multiple international R&D projects with a focus on boosting robotization in various manufacturing industries (e.g., clothing, automotive). Less recently, he also worked on the application of multiview geometry to the control of mobile robots.
