MigrainePhase is a migraine and headache diary developed by Sayra Tasmin Rabita (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information MigrainePhase stores, what information may be transmitted from your device, and how that information is handled.
MigrainePhase is designed with privacy in mind.
Your migraine and headache diary entries are stored locally on your device.
MigrainePhase does not require an account or sign-in.
We do not maintain a server or database containing copies of your health records.
We do not use analytics or behavioral tracking.
We do not display advertising.
We do not sell your personal information or health information.
We only transmit limited information to third-party services when necessary to provide optional weather functionality or manage subscriptions and purchases.
MigrainePhase stores information that you choose to enter or generate within the app. This may include:
Migraine and headache episodes
Pain intensity
Symptoms and aura information
Medications and doses
Relief methods
Daily check-ins
Personal notes
Weather information associated with your entries
App preferences and settings
This information is stored in the app’s private storage on your device. We do not have access to your locally stored health or migraine records.
If you enable weather tracking, MigrainePhase may use your approximate latitude and longitude to request weather information, such as barometric pressure, from Open-Meteo.
The weather request does not include your name, account information, migraine records, health entries, or personal notes.
If you do not enable weather tracking, MigrainePhase does not access or transmit your location for this purpose.
You can disable weather tracking at any time through the app’s settings. Once disabled, MigrainePhase will stop using your location for weather requests.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and your Apple ID.
MigrainePhase uses RevenueCat to manage and validate subscription status. RevenueCat may receive an anonymous or randomly generated app or device identifier and purchase-related information necessary to manage your subscription.
RevenueCat does not receive your migraine records, health entries, personal notes, name, or location from MigrainePhase.

MigrainePhase allows you to generate reports and exports, such as PDF doctor reports or CSV files.
These files remain under your control. MigrainePhase does not automatically upload or send your exported files.
If you choose to share an export, the file will be transmitted through the service, application, or recipient you select. The privacy and handling of that file will then be governed by the policies of the service or application you choose to use.
MigrainePhase does not collect or use:
Analytics or behavioral tracking data
Advertising identifiers for advertising purposes
Your name for account creation
Email addresses for account creation
Contact information for account creation
Your migraine or headache records on our servers
Your health information for advertising or marketing
Your health information for sale to third parties
We do not sell your health information or maintain a server-side copy of your migraine diary.
MigrainePhase may schedule reminders and check-in notifications locally on your device.
These notifications are generated by your device and do not require your health information to be transmitted to our servers.
You can manage or disable notifications through your device settings.
Your migraine and health information is stored locally on your device.
You can delete individual migraine or headache records through the app.
If you delete the MigrainePhase app, locally stored app data may also be deleted according to the behavior of your device and operating system.
Because we do not maintain a server-side copy of your health records, we cannot recover information that you delete from your device. You also do not need to contact us to request deletion of health records that we do not possess.
If you have enabled optional weather tracking, you can withdraw permission for location use at any time by turning off the relevant weather-tracking setting in MigrainePhase. Once disabled, the app will stop using your location for weather requests.
MigrainePhase is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require an account or collect personal information for account creation.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review the situation.
MigrainePhase is a tracking and journaling tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or prediction of any medical condition.
Information displayed by MigrainePhase is provided for informational and tracking purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice.
Please consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your symptoms, medications, diagnosis, or treatment.
MigrainePhase may use the following third-party services:
Open-Meteo — Used to provide optional weather information, including weather conditions and barometric pressure.
RevenueCat — Used to manage and validate subscription and in-app purchase status.
These services receive only the information necessary to provide their respective services and may process that information in accordance with their applicable privacy policies and terms. Each of these third-party services is required to protect the information it receives to a standard equal to the protection described in this Privacy Policy.
MigrainePhase does not send your migraine records, health entries, personal notes, name, or email address to these services.
Each third-party service also maintains its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the applicable privacy policies for more information about how these services handle information they receive.
We take reasonable measures to design MigrainePhase so that your health information remains under your control.
Because your migraine diary is stored locally on your device and we do not maintain a server-side copy of your health records, the security of your device and its operating-system protections is also important.
You should use appropriate device security measures, such as a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID, where available.
We may update this Privacy Policy if MigrainePhase’s data practices change or if additional information is needed to clearly explain our privacy practices.
If we make material changes that affect how information is handled, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, communicate the change through the app, its release notes, or other appropriate means.
