SHAZAM

Shazam is a mobile application that recognizes music, TV, and media around you. This application is available to all iOS and Android users. It is the basis of radio stations on which song is popular or trending in certain areas. This helps the radio stations in deciding whether they’ll play the song or not. The more SHAZAM the song gets, the higher possibility it will be played on the radio stations. Radio stations have 30 – 40% of importance on getting in Billboard Hot 100.

You can Shazam a song once per day but here are ways to shazam more.

How to Use

ANDROID (Login is not required)

Play the song on any device (if you use one device for both playing the song and shazam, make sure you’re on speaker so the app can recognize it)
Open Shazam and click on the ‘S’ button
Once the song is recognized, interact with the app for a few seconds (check the song details, lyrics, etc.)
Exit the app and go to settings
Go to App manager > Shazam > Storage > Clear Data
Repeat all the steps

IOS

Play the song on any device (if you use one device for both playing the song and shazam, make sure you’re on speaker so the app can recognize it)
Open Shazam and click on the ‘S’ button
Once the song is recognized, interact with the app for a few seconds (check the song details, lyrics, etc.)
Click on the library on the top left of the screen
Click on Shazam Account and log in with your preferred way
After you log in, go to Library > Settings > Log out > Remove
Your data has been cleared, you can Shazam the song again
Repeat all the steps
