A note from the President of MIBS:

A global world. A world class education.

Welcome to Midwest IB Schools (MIBS), an association of IB World Schools located in the states of Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

The goal of our organization is to seek out the greatest possible educational experiences for students participating in the International Baccalaureate programs within our area. These programs include the Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP) Diploma Program (DP), and Career Program (CP).

As member schools, we offer a strong support system and network for coordinators, teachers, and administrators. Teacher round tables allow educators the opportunity to share best practices and stay up to date on the latest curricular changes. Coordinators and administrators meet regularly to network and develop opportunities to support teachers and students as they participate in IB programs in our six-state region. Our membership is open to both "candidate" and "authorized" public, private and parochial schools. However, we welcome conversations with anyone who has an interest in any of the four IB programs.

Please let us know how our organization can be of assistance to you. Thank you for your interest in MIBS!

Kind Regards,

Christy Dabalos, President
