Eventing Rally

2024 Eventing Rally

June 7-9

Longview Horse Park

12600 SE Raytown Rd

Kansas City, MO 64149

What is an Eventing Rally?  Do I have to do cross-country?

This is a "Standard Rally" for Eventing which also offers non-standard divisions (ie:Combined Test).   A combined test is one dressage ride and one show jumping course, no cross country required.

Teams will be made up of 3-4 riders and a Stable Manager.  Teams must be entered in either Eventing or Combined Test.  (Teams cannot be mixed.)  If it is an eventing team a Stable Manager is REQUIRED.   While many members and DCs work to enter teams, the secretary can use her discretion to create full teams.  It's all about sportsmanship and making new friends!

Who can compete?

Any Pony Club Member-in good-standing may compete.   (Note:  Good standing refers to all national, regional and local dues paid and no outstanding debt owed.)

Why should you compete?

Eventing Rally is one of the four standard rallies that is put on by the Midwest Region (Quiz, Eventing, Mega and Games).  It is an opportunity to show off the horsemanship skills that you have learned (both mounted and unmounted).

Depending on the member's age, certification levels, classes chosen and performance, members can qualify for either the Regular or Modified USPC Championships.  (See Championship Eligibility Requirements.)

Most importantly - this is a fun event to spend with your Pony Club "peeps" and your horses.  What's better than that??
