Fly Casting Tune-up with Certified Instructor Fred DeCicco

Longtime club member Fred DeCicco is graciously offering his expertise for our annual fly casting tune-up event.
Bring your own fly fishing gear and practice casting on the lawn, and receive tips from Fred!
All are welcome, any age and skill level.
Opportunity to have food and drinks on the Pumphouse deck afterwards depending on interest
Chena Hot Springs Road Mile 45-46 Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup

ADFG stocked ponds at Chena Hot Springs Road Mile 45.5
Help keep our local river we all love and fly fish beautiful and healthy!
We will plan to meet at the ADFG stocked ponds at milepost 45.5, which are just down a short gravel access road. We will plan to be there at 10 AM. We expect to wrap things up no later than noon. We will start picking up around the stocked ponds and access road, then work on the main hot springs road section from MP 45 to 46.
Make sure to bring suitable clothing for a half day outdoors (xtratufs, raincoat recommended just in case), gloves, sunscreen, water, snacks, and lunch. The club will provide trash bags and some reflective safety vests for anybody who would like them.
This cleanup day is open to any and all (MSFC members or the public) who wish to help in this effort.
