Emergency Drill — Exercise Only — September 25, 2025

On September 25, 2025, Middlebury will conduct a campus-wide shelter-in-place drill for Middlebury Vermont campus students, faculty, and staff, from 2:00-2:10 pm. When you receive this alert, please immediately seek shelter indoors. Once indoors, we ask that you engage in a conversation with those around you about the actions you would take if it were an actual incident. How would you lock/barricade doors if instructed to do so? How would you lock windows? Where would you hide if those instructions were included as part of the order?

The shelter-in-place drill is part of Middlebury's ongoing comprehensive emergency preparedness planning. For details about the drill, visit Middlebury Announcements.

What to do in an Actual Emergency
