Ph.D Student in Computer Science and Mathematics (XXXIX cycle)
Short Bio:
Serena Grazia De Benedictis is a Ph.D. student in Department of Mathematics at University of Bari Aldo Moro. She is a member of the MIDAS Research Group, where her current study concentrates on topological data analysis, optimization, computational geometry, machine learning and topological machine learning. She is affiliated with the Gruppo Nazionale per il Calcolo Scientifico (GNCS) and with European Women in Mathematics (EWM). During her Ph.D., Serena carried out a six-month research stay at Pirelli Tyre S.p.A., where she gained significant exposure to international collaboration and industrial research.
Serena holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Finance Support from University of Bari Aldo Moro.
