Michigan Lion Dance Heritage 501(c)(3) is a student-led nonprofit cultural organization dedicated to sharing the tradition of lion dance while fostering connections across diverse communities.
Founded in 1983, our program provides youth with opportunities in cultural education, artistic performance, and leadership development. Through lion dance, students learn teamwork, discipline, and cultural appreciation while serving as ambassadors of cross-cultural understanding.
Our organization is youth-centered and supported by board governance, mentors, and volunteers, bringing together students, families, and community members to sustain cultural traditions across generations.
Through our performances, educational programs, and commmunity outreach, we strive to promote cultural exchange and inspire the next generation to carry forward cultural heritage. Join us in celebrating diversity and tradition through the art of lion dance!
