I’ve been married to my childhood best friend for over 30 years and am a proud mother of four grown children and grandmother of four, with another one on the way. My husband and I are enjoying the "empty nest" years as we travel across the US.
I’m deeply passionate about my family, my students, and my community. Creativity is at the heart of my teaching and leadership—I strive to design engaging and meaningful learning experiences that meet the unique needs of each learner, while connecting them to essential life tools. I incorporate my fun-loving personality into all I do.
As a trained educator, I bring both experience and empathy to my work. I’m continually refining my teaching methods to support student growth and success. My dedication is also deeply personal: my father earned his GED while serving in the military, inspiring my lifelong commitment to education, with a focus on adult education in the last decade.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, studying, crafting, decorating, exploring nature, camping, hiking, relaxing at the beach, and learning new skills. One of my favorite things is traveling across this beautiful nation.
I've been to 38 states so far...and Mexico.
