The house has three comfortable size bedrooms, a dining area and galley layout kitchen. There is a spacious living room with a double pull out couch available. The outside has a new spacious deck and there is plenty of room to park cars, boats, tents or outdoor play. The kitchen and flooring throughout have been updated and the house is freshly painted.

House is fully stocked with all necessary cooking essentials. This is a house keeping rental which means you will need to ensure all dishes are washed and put away, garbage is all packed in blue garbage bags and separated for recycling,, floors are tidy and free from major debris, and place is left tidy and neat with no damages. A refundable damage /excess cleaning deposit will be collected upon booking and will be promptly refunded once we validate the cottage is left in good order. Towels and bed linens included but we offer a discount if you bring your own as it takes less time for the cleaner.
The lot is 3.6 acres of bushland including yard and parking areas. This property is on a quiet dead end road only 15 mins from the Ferry Dock. Michaels Bay boat launch is just down the road and the Manitou River is across the street. Pets will be considered. Also during hunting season potential usage of the property for hunting.
A vehicle is needed to get around the island. If you have an ATV you can ride that on the road and the Michaels Bay boat launch is down the road. Providence Bay beach is a 15 min car ride. There are also other lakes close by such as Mindemoya and Manitou and of course Lake Huron. Mindemoya is 10 minutes away. The cottage is in a good location in that the Island attraction's are not far away
Because of the rural setting you will often see wild life and could get an occasional mouse in the cottage
