Minecraft - Playing Cards
A deck of 52 Playing Cards (+2 Jokers) reskinned to be based on the community surrounding Twitch live streamer Haza_64. The deck's aesthetics are influenced by content found within the popular video game Minecraft.
The cards span a wide range of subjects. Many are creative reimagining of something or someone found within the community. Some cards reference Twitch culture such as a "Gifted Sub". While others are based on creatures found within the Minecraft world.
Several decks were printed and then distributed to members within the community. The cards were synthesized through imagination and community, produced within the digital art program Clip Studio Paint, and finally printed into tangible form with the assistance of MakePlayingCards.
The playing cards went from being within an imaginative mind to being something I can hold in my very own hands.
