Minecraft - Pillager Alert!
A raid alert I did for a Minecraft live streamer on Twitch.
I drew inspiration from the art style of the Minecraft mob vote trailers. The subject is a character in game known as a "Pillager" who blow their horn when conducting in-game "raids" on unsuspecting villages. On Twitch, a streamer can execute a raid command that allows them to redirect all of their viewers to another streamer's chat.
Thus a simultaneous reference to both Twitch and Minecraft.
Minecraft - Respawn Anchor
A Respawn Anchor in the video game Minecraft allows players to respawn at its location at the cost of a single item known as glowstone dust.
I illustrated the scene first but intended for the particles to be animated. A dithering effect was added onto the background to help prevent pixel glitching during gif compression.
