As a part of my Film Studies course, I am required to make a 3-5 minute long short film or produce a screenplay. I opted for the former.
I originally wanted to make a film about a private detective working to solve a murder he committed, however, the project became too big for what time and resources I had, and so I decided to make an Avant-Garde film about the 5 stages of grief presented though a man haunted by the person he may have killed in a drunk driving incident.
The turnaround for this film was rather quick, being scripted, shot and edited within a couple of weeks, and I am immensely proud of it.
It is currently being test-screened with some close friends and family members to help decide if anything needs adjusting or if the idea came across well, but personally, I see it as a strong showing of my skills.
